Larry C. Bigelow, 61 of Wartella Road, Allenville passed away Frida y morning, April 27 at the hands of an intruder, and a homicide at his home. He was born July 20,1956 in St.Ignace to Frank "Bud" and Donna (Litzner) Bigelow.  He graduated from Rudyard High School in 1974 and has been a logger since. He owned his own business, LCB Logging until injury sidelined him 3 years ago. He loved his family, and was a gentle man, and a very hard worker and ,as his family said he would not even kill a spider. The family loves their dogs, and recently had 6. He is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Allenville,  where he married JoAnn Rice on July 19,2003.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, a son, Cord Wilson and Emily Misner, ST.Ignace; daughters, Rayanne and Samantha at home; his mother, Donna Bigelow, Brevort Lake; a brother, Gary and Lisa Bigelow, Moran; a sister, Peggy and Marvin Peters, San Antonio TX; and a granddaughter,Abby. He was preceded in death by his father on March 23,1989.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 7 at 2 pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Allenville with visitation from 1 pm until service time. Pastor Matt Lamb will officiate. Burial will be in Brevort Township Cemetery in Allenville.
Dodson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Larry was a big teddy bear as my daughter would say. He will be missed by many. My heart goes out to all his family and friends. My prayers are with you.
