CHarles William Malcolm, 74 of Moran Township, ST.Ignace pssed away at home on Tuesday, October 1 following a short illness.He was born September 24,1945 in Wayne County near Detroit. His parents were Herbert and Mary Malcolm. He was a  Marine veteran of the VietNam War.serving from 1965 to 1968.He retired from Chrysler Corp. 19 years ago and lived on West US 2 for 20 years. He and his wife operated the Town and Country Motel for a few years. He is an elected member of the Moran Township Board. He loved old cars and his Harley.
he married Paula Powko on August 18,1984 in Utica, and she survives. Also a son, CHarles Malcolm in Florida; 3 daughters, Melissa Malcolm in Warren; Mary Malcolm and Joe Howard, ST.Ignace; and Mandy Malsolm ; and Michael Emrich, ST.Ignace, one brother, Mark and Mary Keyser, Grand Blanc; and a sister, Sherri Blaine, Grayling; and 7 grandcildren.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Dodson Funeral Home assisted the family with services.

Paula,He brought his Harley Davidson to my son's shop for detailing,got to reminisce with him about the good times.He will be missed!

I went to school with Charlie. He was a wonderful classmate. He was positive, funny and helpful. I had the honor or setting with him at our 55th class reunion. He talked about Paula so beautifully. It was a lovely evening. He is missed.
Sorry to hear about Chuck we been friends for years.

Dear Paula and family. Keith and I are so very sorry about Charlie's passing. Please know you're in our thoughts. We had no idea he was ill in any way. Hope he's resting in peace.
